Frequently asked questions
Boat Lift Repair questions, answered
Real answers from a local Nags Head boat lift repair crew — no fluff, no upsell.
My lift won’t run — do you do emergency callouts?
Yes. Call us — we diagnose before replacing parts so you don’t pay for a motor you didn’t need. Storm-season emergencies get priority.
Do you install new lifts or just repair?
Both. We size to your boat and slip, install salt-rated, and handle permitting and electrician coordination.
What brands do you work on?
The major salt-rated brands plus older custom installs. We recommend the lift that fits your budget and slip, not the one with the best margin.
Do you offer annual service?
Yes — fall winterization and service that prevents the spring breakdown. Flat fee, parts quoted separately.
What areas do you cover?
Nags Head, Duck, Corolla, and the canal and soundside lifts of the northern Outer Banks.
Can you work with my dock and electrician?
Yes — we coordinate with your dock, electrician, and HOA as needed, including permitting.
Still have a question?
The fastest answer is a quick phone call. We’re happy to talk through your situation at no charge.
